Personal and Planetary Sustainability - Living the myth of renewal in Shakespeare's "As You Like It"
“All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players.
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts…”
So what do we need to do - and who do we need to be - to become truly resilient at this
point in time? Wherever we look, foundational shifts are occurring – “the times they are
a-changing” indeed, and now they call for personal and planetary renewal.
Using the experiential methodology of
Mythodrama, we will explore the regeneration
found at the heart of Shakespeare's magical mystery comedy “As You Like It”.
We start in a troubled court, where a dominant
culture impedes the development of future potential. As pressure
mounts people enter a forest where time in nature, creative
expression, courageous conversation and philosophical inquiry
yield previously unknown ways of being. By the end new
relationships have formed and our leading characters step into
new roles both for their own development and for the good of the
whole.
“…this our life, exempt from public haunt,
Finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks,
Sermons in stones, and good in everything."
Working creatively with the archetypes and themes found in the play we will bring the
story to life. We then reflect it back into our own inner dramas as shown in our
astrological charts and by stories that appear in our daily lives. As the leading
characters dare to leap ahead into an unknown future, so we will invite ourselves
to do the same; “How can I best contribute to the positive unfolding of an emergent future?”
(N.B. No prior knowledge of Shakespeare or Astrology is required
for full participation and enjoyment of this unique program.

Has The World Gone Mad? - The 21st Century And You
At the beginning of 2009 I wrote an essay about our world in
these changing times and got an overwhelming response from all
corners of the globe. I decided to put together this workshop as
a way for participants to explore how their particular chart
fits into the New Age, the Aquarian Age.
We will use all ten astrological archetypes
and discuss how they are appearing in Aquarian ways in our times.
We will also ask the question if your particular language for
the ten planets will do just fine as you have been expressing
them, or if this is a time for you to re-imagine one or several
of your inner characters.
This workshop will help you investigate
specific details related to our times in your birth chart. You
will learn how to apply ideas presented to the group. While
there will be some limited one-on-one work, you will learn
something else than you would get from an individual
astrological reading. The two should not be confused. Mostly, a
relaxed yet intellectually challenging and enjoyable workshop
will give you a deepened self understanding.
This is a one-and-a-half day seminar and open to anybody with an interest in astrology, archetypes and depth psychology. You must have your ACCURATE natal astrological chart to participate. I will bring everyone's birth chart with me to the event. When you register you will be asked to fill in the information for your birth chart so that I can prepare it for you.

Soul Time with Brugh Joy
Celebrating the reunion of our individual soul with group soul and on into the greater Soul of Nature in a spectacular
environment.
This is a five-day gathering in a spectacular setting at an
elevation of over 4000 feet in Lone Pine California, the site of
the filming of many Westerns. Join us for an extraordinary time
with several teachers in various fields. The main idea here is
to find your way back to nature. This is what Brugh has written
about this event:
"We come together in an awesome
environment that will knock your socks off exposing body skin to
earth skin through barefoot dancing, feet warming campfire
storytelling, Bards that can stir the poetry of Rumi, Laotsi,
Hafiz, along with feet stirred contemplative hikes, and soul
music that invites communion with Nature and our love of Earth
and Sky."
The price for this event has been set at a very reasonable $375
including meals (not lodging) and we expect a sizeable gathering
in this spectacular setting. Come join us! For more information
and to register,
